After such success last year, it come as no suprise that 2015 will see a second Kirby Bentley Cup, celebrating young Aboriginal female footballers.
This year's KB Cup will be held on Friday 1st May from 4pm - 8pm at Lightning Park, Noranda (Corner Reid Hwy and Tonkin Hwy) for Aboriginal girls aged 13-17years.
The Kirby Bentley Cup, named after AFL (Melbourne FC) and WAWFL (Swan Districts) footballer Kirby Bentley, provides young Aboriginal girls with an exciting opportunity to put their football skills on display with the opportunity to be selected in the WA Female Kickstart Team!
The best indigenous girls from around the state will come to play including Goldfields and Geraldton and put their skills to the test for matches against the the competing teams. 2014 saw over 150 participants in total.
This year's cup will be played as a 9-a-side round robin tournament.
