WAWFL seeks sub-committee for 2014 Yorga MatchThursday, November 14, 2013 - 7:11 PM
In 2014 the WA Women’s Football League will host the third ‘Yorga’s Koodjal Kadadjiny Match’ which is the ‘Women’s Two Way Learning Match’, that consists of the Indigenous All Stars playing against the WAWFL All stars.
This biannual event is to celebrate the passion and skill of our indigenous female footballers and to highlight the reconciliation between our indigenous and non-indigenous female footballers and to encourage positive respectful relationships between all Australians.
Following the success of the first two matches, the WAWFL is again keen to make the next one even bigger!
The WAWFL is now looking for volunteers to join the subcommittee to organise the 2014 event, if you want to be involved please register your interest by contacting the WAWFL on secretary@wawfl.com.au by the 2nd Dec 2013.
