After nearly 3 months of grueling and challenging training in extremely high heat, it gives us great pleasure to announce the 2014 State U18 Youth Girls team. Congratulations to all girls who will represent WA in Canberra, ACT from Friday 2/5/14 to Saturday 10/5/14 at the National U18 Youth Girls AFL Championships.

Congratulations to all girls who trialed and especially the State 16’s players who have really stepped up after their historic win in Darwin in 2013, exerting outstanding pressure on their older team mates to retain their place in the side and eventually complimenting the strong base we already had established in 2013. We have one of the most experienced sides WA has ever entered with nearly half of the team being 18yrs old and with 2-3 years State representation behind each of them.

Head Coach, Michelle Cowan and her team are certain they have the right mix of players this year to bring home the elusive State U18 Youth Girls Cup. Good luck to all players in their final month of preparation.
