The second Australian Football Coaches Association seminar will be held on Monday 23rd June with Glenn Stewart, the High Performance Manager of the West Coast Eagles presenting on the topic of 'Injuries - Bad Luck or Bad Planning?'.
Glenn's presentation will look at the issues of training load, training planning and how you can avoid injuries.
Glenn has been the High Performance Manager of the West Coast Eagles since 1997 and before that he was the Strength Coach from 1992.
In October 2012, Glenn was awarded Life Membership of the West Coast Eagles and he has been involved in all three premierships and 15 finals campaigns.
Away from football, Glenn has a Masters Degree in Physical Education as well as a Diploma of Education. Through the 90’s he was involved in coaching athletics with the WA Institute of Sport, which included coaching Olympic and Commonwealth Games athletes.
In addition to his role at the West Coast Eagles, Glenn is the Director of Athletes Performance Academy, which is a business that provides coaching and development programs for athletes of all sports.
