Title: Head Reserves Coach - Reports to: Head Senior Coach

Overview: The Head Reserves Coach of the Claremont Women’s Football Club will be assisting the Head Senior Coach in executing the 2018 football development plan with a focus on the skills and abilities of the playing group.

The Head Reserves Coach will work closely with the Head Senior Coach to execute training and game say strategies. The Head Reserves Coach will work collaboratively with the other Coaches to ensure the players have the skills and abilities required to play the highest level of football they can. This role is key in building on the existing club culture by focusing on high performance, team success and an inclusive and inviting club environment.

Key Responsibilities:
? Coaching the CWFC Reserves Team during trainings and on game days
? Assist in creating a 2018 football development plan
? Conduct a coaching program outlines by the Head Coach for pre-season and during the season. You will need to:
? Develop the skills and abilities of individual players
? Give the players feedback benchmarks and feedback on how to improve both physically and mentally (i.e. expected fitness levels, skills and abilities, mental preparation for games and Individual Development Plans)
? Communicate strategies and tactics for varied scenarios and opponents
? Work collaboratively with the League, Reserves and Rogers Cup coaches, the 2018 Committee and all volunteers.
? Lead by example to maintain our performance focus and continue to build a supportive club culture
? Work in a professional manner to give feedback to staff, players and volunteers

Key Selection Criteria:
? Minimum Level 1 Coaching Accreditation
? Commitment to attend all training sessions and matches
? A preference for coaching female athletes and an understanding of nuances and motivational factors of female athletes
? Ability to work as part of a team towards common goals
? A sound knowledge of football rules and an ability to coach a range of modern techniques and strategies
Additional Requirements:
? Valid WA Working with Children Card
? Training 2 nights per week (Wednesday and Friday nights), plus planning, review & meetings Match day in-season (Sundays)

? Willingness to attend club functions and other events relevant to your position
