The West Australian Women’s Football League is proud to announce that Burley Sekem will become an official apparel supplier for the next three years.
Already partnering with the WA Football Commission, and WA Football League, Burley Sekem will now be the exclusive provider of WAWFL game day apparel and match day footballs for the homeand-away season.
WAWFL President Carolyn Hills is excited to welcome a WA-based sponsor as the League strives to increase the professionalism of the League.
“Having years of experience supporting WA football, we are very happy to partner with a business that understands our game and needs.
“Burley Sekem provide a quality product that we are confident will help raise the profile of the WAWFL, and ensure our players look as professional as possible while on the field” she said.
Director of Burley Sekem, Ed Cunningham explained he is delighted to have reached an agreement with the WAWFL.
“As one of the few remaining manufacturers in Perth, the support of local leagues is extremely important for us.
“Moreover, we see women’s football as the fastest growing segment of the football market and look forward to assisting the league and clubs during this exciting expansion stage” he said.
With Burley Sekem’s production history dating back to 1907, the WAWFL Board is sure this new partnership will assist the League as we transition into an exciting new era with the inaugural female AFL competition in 2017.
