The Perth Angels Football Club hopes to attract new local female AFL enthusiasts to the game starting with an Open Day on Sunday 24th January at their training ground in Kewdale. This is an opportunity for the community to head down and learn more about the fastest growing sport in Australia.

The club’s main purpose is to provide a pathway for young adolescent girls and women to participate in AFL football, create a community identity and hopefully gain recognition towards state selection.

Events on the day will include an exhibition match, games and prizes, special guests and a sausage sizzle.  It is a great chance to speak with current players and test out your skills with players teaching some basic techniques and the opportunity for people to get involved with a social match. Registration will be available on the day.

The Open Day will run from 9:30 to 1:30 on Sunday 24th January 2016 at Peet Park, Armadale Road, Kewdale

Food and Drink will be available on the day along with the chance to win some great prizes from our sponsors.

9:30 – Welcome and Official Opening

10:15 – Learn to Play

11:00 – Holden Grant Presentation

11:30 – Exhibition Match

1:00 – Raffle Drawn
