Semi Final 1: Swan Districts 4.6 (30) defeated Coastal Titans 3.0 (18)

Heading straight into the grand final, Swan Districts' 12 point victory over the Coastal Titans showcased yet again why they're looming as serious premiership contenders for 2017.

Ruthless in defence and determined up forward, the Swans lead all game and not once did they look back. In fact, their quality defensive pressure was so good that it left their opponents still scoreless at half time.  Danielle Fagents, Jay Hockley and Milly Burns each kicked single goals for the Titans, while Kathleen Prosser, Tayah Reed, Shannan Rene and Sarah Fragomeni shared the glory in front of goal for the Swans.

The Titans have another chance to make amends and slot themselves into a grand final should they overcome East Fremantle this coming Sunday

Semi Final 2: East Fremantle 2.6 (18) defeated South Fremantle 2.4 (16)

Leading from the front, 2 goals from East Fremantle’s Emily Wise gifted the Sharks a golden ticket right into a preliminary final showdown against the Coastal Titans.

Trailing behind South Fremantle all day, the Sharks clawed their way back to the lead to steal a close victory by 2 points.Heidi Schlesniak and Casey Byrne each kicked a goal for the Bulldogs, but it just wasn’t enough at the final hurdle.
